Development Expertise

The Makidea team’s primary developmental focus is on the Microsoft Windows platform. The Makidea team also specializes in code portability to multiple platforms including, but not limited to, Linux and the Mac OS X.

On the Windows platform the Makidea team has extensive experience of deep integration with the following products:

• System Center Configuration Manager 2007 and SMS 2003
• Internet Information Services (IIS) 6.0 and 7.0
• Windows Update services
  

In addition our team has experience building and maintaining code using the following technologies:

On the Unix, Linux and the Mac OS X platforms the Makidea team has experience with Trolltech’s Qt library.

Makidea’s main development languages are C++, C and C#, in conjunction with reusable and proven technologies, such as Boost Libraries, to provide high reliability and portability of all our applications.

In addition the Makidea team has extensive expertise in visualization libraries from prior work on CAD systems. The company also develops embedded devices for a variety of industries using Linux and Windows XP Embedded.
